Will he speak?
Every day parents ask me: "Will he speak?" or: "Will he speak properly?" Of course speech is a matter that concerns us all very much. We all want the children to communicate well with speech, but that is not the only thing that matters!! If it were only speech, things would be a lot easier! It is the lack of sociability, the being unable to communicate in general, the incapability to understand why to communicate in the first place. If all that has developped, then speech will have already come about.
Sociability is NOT the same as socialization!! Children who don't have enough sociability, cannot be socialized yet. They first have to obtain sociability, in order to be able to understand our social rules.
