Talk normal!

The father of Alexandros told me that every time his son speaks with a funny high voice (which he does nearly all the time) he tells him to say it properly and that is what he does then. He aims to learn him to speak normally. Maybe he will succeed one day, but the boy will have much anger in him by then.

I serve the same goal, but I intend to acchieve it without pressure and without the child feeling that I don't approve of him. Every time he speaks with his own little voice, I just do what he asks of me or I ask him to say it again because I didn't understand him, if that is really true. I am confident that he will stop this funny voice, as soon as he gets more social.

I wonder how much time the father will need to reach his goal and how much time I will need. And also how the child will be by then, happy or having tantrums.

Education and drilling is really not what the autistic child needs, but instead unconditional acceptance for his funny voice. He will change a lot as his socialibility becomes more!
