Me and you
'Me' and 'you' are not easily learned by the children correcting them That is only confusing them more. They have to experience what those words mean and then they will obtain sense to them.
It is an idea to cut a slice of bread or cake, a banana or whatever the child likes to eat, into pieces. Show him one piece and ask: "Who is going to eat this one?" If he answers 'me', you give it to him and he will eat it. If he says 'you', you 'll say 'thank you' and you will eat it.
He might not have intended that! If he is getting really upset, help him with the next bite to say 'me', in order to be able to eat it himself. That doesn't matter. At first they usually obtain the 'me', which is logical for a egocentric child. Later on they wil certainly get the 'you' too.
DON'T REPLY SAYING: 'YES, YOU!' AFTER THE CHILD SAYS 'ME'!!!! Just say: 'Yes, that is good' or 'ok' or something like that.
