Energetic role

In K.A.L.E.S.M.A. we seek an active role in whatever the child is doing. Today Dimitris wanted to play with the animal cards, like he usually does. Whenever i gave him a card(i held the box and handed the cards over to him one by one) i required that he showed me the card and looked me in the eyes, which is a goal for him. It didn't last long, since he wanted to have all the cards on the ground. He started putting the cards back in the box one by one, after examining them closely. Thus i extended my arm so that he put each card in my hand for me to put in the box. He accepted it and the process turned out like this: He would look me in the eyes(because i held my hands close to my eyes) as he gave me each card. We continued in this manner for a long time before i introduced a new variation. "One, two, three, INSIDE!" He started handing me cards faster and faster, almost without even looking at them, because he enjoyed our game so much! He waited in attentive anticipation for me to drop the card in the box.
This is the essence. I created a reciprocal game, through which Dimitris realized that the best "game" is me! Through his own interest, he began playing with me! In this way, sociability and reciprocity are born.
